Current focus on India Travel Blog is on Ladakh. Here is a list of posts on the people of Ladakh, their helpful nature and also a few bad experiences. I have also compiled a series of posts on major Buddhist monasteries along the Indus Valley, which includes monasteries in Leh, Thiksey, Spituk, Likir and Alchi. Also see the posts related to Leh town.

With the travel season to Ladakh about open in a month or two, it will continue to be the major focus for another month, by when there will be exhaustive information posted on the region. There will be a few posts on short journeys to other places too and a lot of images as usual. Also watch out for many travel book reviews, some of them being great gems that every traveller must read.

I hope you have a great travelling summer ahead. It is time to be in the mountains. What are you waiting for?

cheers! 🙂
