I was walking around this morning on a birding outing and was unhappy at having seen nothing interesting for more than an hour. Just when I was planning to shift base, I saw this Blue Faced Malkoha. Despite its lackluster colours, it is a beautiful and graceful bird. I haven’t seen much of this bird before, so decided to go looking for it though it went flying far off from where I was. I found it again and waited under the tree in which it hopped around. Although I was standing very close to it, this is all I could see of the bird through the branches.
I am hoping to go back and look for this bird again in the next few days. After the Malkoha flew away, I must have spent another hour or so in the vicinity and shot a few pictures of birds, insects and plants. I will be posting them in the next few days once they are processed.

Loved your shot!
Thank you Ms.N
Neelima, I do agree about the moods and emotions. I feel a good picture happens when all things, even technicals, that go into making the image come together. But I like this image anyway..
Thank you.
