Hi Arun, I remember this temple quite clearly (they were demanding foreigner entry fee from me!) especially the monkeys and the sculptures. Your descriptions are fantastic, the history of this place is really significant. Its sad to see such places fade out of history.

Very few times I comment on posts and your this series of Badami has so wonderful photos that I couldn’t resist. Actually you don’t need any words to describe the place, the beauty of your photos say it all.
