In Pushkar
Tuesday, February 05, 2008
I have been travelling in Rajasthan, slower than I expected to and have reached Pushkar good two days later than I initially intended. Finally there is internet connection available with some decent speed, and I have some decent time in hand to use it. But I have been browsing for an hour or more mostly doing housekeeping and that means I need to spend an hour or two more today or tomorrow online, doing the actual research that I need to do.Places covered so far:
Jaipur, of which I was pretty impressed of the places less known and came back unimpressed on the popular tourist trap.
Shekhawati, where buildings are painted with all sorts of color and peacocks stroll freely atop the Havelis.
My next destination is still unknown to me, and I intend to figure it out today or tomorrow. But most likely, it will be a choice between Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.

Hi Arun!
Nice blog. How can I email you? -I have questions about Rishikesh.
Arun,
Hey nice to hear from you.
While in Shekawati, did you check on the famous stepwell of Fatehpur of Paheli fame?
I am envious of you thinking of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Have a great time. :)
