The year ahead..

How much ever I tell myself not to plan things obsessively, dreams pop up and things shape up. 2008 will be a year of travel, a time to reflect, a year to pursue things in life that I have always wanted to do and make an attempt to get wiser, simpler and better. Time will tell on the realization of all these but I know that it is time to rejoice, may things work the way I want or otherwise.Here is my travel wish list for 2008
* Rajasthan
* Cambodia
* Spiti Valley, and may be Leh/Ladakh
* A few monsoon journeys along the Sahyadri
* Valley of Flowers and surrounding region in Garhwal
* temples of Tamil Nadu - Madurai, Tanjore, KK. Missed then this year.
Obviously not an exhaustive one, but you know what happens when one tries to include the world. :) Seems like a short list, but I know it will take a good lot of my time. The winter months are unplanned and seeing how far they are, I should let them be so.

Your travel wish list sounds amazing! I just recently visited Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Check out my travel blog if you are interested :)
What a list ! Its amazing..Hope you see more than this..
Ive made a wish list too , but not too ambitious, mine is going to be more historic and spiritual this year ..and yes, there are dreams that I hope will be fulfilled as well..
Loved your Hampi pics ..i carry very special memories of the place..did a video almost 9 years ago on it and before that, a photography tour from college ..that was terrible (lol)
btw, I had visited a village called Shettihali last weekend and found a church submerged in the Hemavathy reservoir..was wondering if you would have any info on it
@Ashley, thanks for dropping by. Will surely check it out.
@backpakker, I dont recall seeing any train tracks/station. Though I am not sure, the public transport way may be to take a bus to Hindupur and changeover to Lepakshi. But there may be a better way to do it.
hey - lovely pics... and ofcourse, nice to hear about plans for the new year - travel or otherwise! planning and anticipating is half the fun!!!
Was making a random crawl thru blogosphere ... this travel list of yours is simply amazing. Its only when I was abt to move out of India for a while when I kind of realized how imp it was for me to travel around the place.
