I have done a decent amount of travelling in last few years and the places I have seen are plenty. But I have not managed to keep a good record of these journeys. Often, when some one asks about some information on a place I have visited long ago, I end up guessing it badly or giving some abstract information. I hope to record my journeys in this blog so I can have a good track of everything I did.Though I was a travel freak from long time, my real travelling started about years ago. What started then has become a regular habit. I have travelled to many places since then. Let me start this blog with trying to make a list of it(in no particular order). I will try to follow this up with travelogue posts and pictures on all these places.

Hi, Nice to read about your travel!
-SM
i really enjoyed your writings.please keep posting more.i want to know about jammu&kashmir in details esp of the non popular yet beautiful places.
Thanks anon. I hope to go to J&K some day and write about it here.
The Himalayan mountains are truely a sight to see. I was there last year and I wish to go again. My only recommendation is to bring some extra clothes (it seems to get muddy / rainy) and maybe travellers cheques or a prepaid credit card. When I travelled from Texas (USA) to India we had so many more small expenses that I didn't consider. I would recommend American Express for the travellers cheques and BO Prepaid for the prepaid Visa. Also keep a copy of your passport with you when you are not in your hotel, but not the original copy.
